MYcards — Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2025
This page describes the terms under which you may use MYcards and how we process your information. By creating, sharing, or receiving cards in MYcards, you agree to these terms.
Terms of Service
1. Overview
MYcards is a digital greeting platform that lets you create and share personalized cards, including text, images, and optional voice messages. Features include purchased and received cards, shareable links, recipient details, and optional credits for premium content.
2. Eligibility & Account
- Authentication may involve phone number verification or other supported sign-in methods.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for maintaining the security of your account and device.
3. Purchases, Credits, and Transactions
- Some features may require credits or payment. We may display your available credit balance and transaction history in-app.
- Taxes, fees, and refund eligibility depend on the payment provider’s policies and applicable law.
4. Your Content
When you create a card, you may provide recipient details (e.g., name, email, phone), a greeting message, images, and voice notes. You retain ownership of your content. You grant MYcards a limited, worldwide, non‑exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service (e.g., rendering your cards, delivering them to recipients, generating share links, caching for performance, and creating backups).
5. Share Links and Distribution
- When you generate a share link, anyone with the link may view card content (including images and voice notes) while the link remains active.
- You can delete a purchased card; we will mark related shared cards as inactive where applicable.
- Do not share content that you do not have the rights to share, or that includes personal data of others without their permission.
6. Acceptable Use
- No illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content.
- No attempts to probe or bypass security, scrape data, or abuse the service or Firebase infrastructure.
- No impersonation or misuse of others’ personal data without consent.
7. Intellectual Property
- Templates, UI, and software are owned by MYcards or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them except as allowed by these terms.
- Your content remains yours; you represent you have the necessary rights to it.
8. Service Changes and Availability
We may add, change, or remove features. We use Firebase services to deliver functionality, which may experience outages or changes outside our control.
9. Disclaimers
MYcards is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation, or that content will always be available.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MYcards and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if required by law. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account and content as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post updates here and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
